Use of "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app before entering TID premises
The HKSAR Government announced on 10 February 2021 that starting from 1 March 2021, government employees and members of the public will be required to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app before entering government buildings or offices.
To allow government employees and members of the public to familiarise themselves with the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app, from 22 February 2021 onwards, staff and visitors of the Trade and Industry Department (TID) will be reminded by the Building Management Office of the Trade and Industry Tower to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app at the entrances of the building. Starting from 1 March 2021, visitors will be required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code or register their names, contact numbers and the date and time of their visits at the Information Counter on 1/F before entering the TID premises for necessary contact tracing if a confirmed case is found. To fight the epidemic together, we appeal for visitors' co-operation with the instructions given by the staff on site.
For the sake of themselves as well as that of others, we call on members of the public to download the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app as soon as possible and scan the QR code posted at TID premises to log the arrival and departure time in order to minimize the risk of further transmission of the virus.
